This is due to a high complexity and multiple co-existing morbidities. This talk will combine the most common acute medicine presentation, acute coronary syndrome, with the complexities that arise from chronic kidney disease. This includes special considerations for patients with end stage renal disease and the risk reduction strategies that can be initiated to aid the patient. From this, it aims to increase confidence in looking after the CKD patient presenting with cardiovascular disease.
