About the RCP trainees conference
This conference will explore both clinical and non-clinical aspects of medicine, and has been created specifically for physician trainees from a range of different specialties.
Across the day, you will:
- Update your knowledge on a range of topics including health inequalities, pregnancy, COVID-19 and more.
- Gain insight into the roles and opportunities made available to trainees by the RCP, such as flexible portfolio training, chief registrar roles, new consultant committees and emerging women leader programmes.
The annual census of higher specialty trainees is launching at the conference!
The census provides the three Royal Colleges of Physicians with essential data that we share with politicians and policy makers to help make the case to lobby for changes, improved facilities, and a greater focus on regions in need. We also share the findings at a provider level with medical directors to help them make informed decisions.
Please look out for your email from the three Royal Colleges of Physicians on Tuesday 23 November which will allow you to access your personalised census form. If you haven’t received your census invitation, or are having difficulties accessing your form, please contact mwucensus@rcp.ac.uk.
On-demand access
We want our delegates to be able to access learning at a time that suits them. All conference content will be available on-demand until 23 February 2022. You will have until 22 December 2021 to gain the maximum 6 CPD points. For the remaining days, you can self-accredit as independent learning.
