We always strive to champion a diverse range of healthcare professionals in our event programmes.Access to each webinar is included as part of your registration to the RCP medicine careers showcase. Although some content may be recommended for particular career grades, all training grades are welcome.

Webinar 1: Is medicine for me?
We launched the week with a conversational session designed
to get you thinking about your career in medicine.
From medical student to RCP president – we’re looking forward to
hearing about Dr Sarah Clarke’s career thus far. We will also explore the
importance of – and guidance towards – finding a mentor. Plus, you might learn
something new about SAS careers.

Webinar 2: IMT spotlight - professional skills for IMTs
Our second webinar encourages you to advance your skills and
knowledge as a current or future IMT and consider how your training can be
adapted to suit your lifestyle. During this session you can learn how to
deliver your QI project successfully, how to present your posters and we’ll be
discussing the possible benefits of pursuing less-than-full-time training.
The content for this session is aimed at those soon to become
internal medicine trainees, or those currently in post looking to refresh their
knowledge.

Webinar 3: Stepping stones - getting your career started
Medical students and foundation doctors are encouraged to watch this mid-week session, which seeks to equip you with the skills and knowledge
to take the first steps towards a successful career in medicine.

portfolio, as well as some first hand accounts about tailoring an F3 year and
experiencing the specialties – both with the aim of finding a career path that

Webinar 4: The future physician - how to influence change
Our final live webinar of the week is an inspiring session focused
on the future challenges in healthcare and how you can influence change.
We were honoured to be joined by the RCP’s immediate
past-president Sir Andrew Goddard – better known as Bod. Bod’s passion for
sustainability in healthcare made him the perfect candidate to host this
webinar.
We explore three main themes, climate change and
sustainability, health inequalities and finally how to make changes at a
grassroots level.
